I am form India , but currently staying in UK.

After chinese app like aliexpress getting banned by our government, there are a few options left. I remember my friends telling me about Maxbhi. com & Zeesppares. in..
but I have never used them personally..
There are a lot of third party repair shops you can take your phone where they can repair phone in front of you. But the quality of parts is questionable..

Even the screen I brought twice here in UK(from Ebay UK, who definately buy from aliexpress china), was not having the same colour accuracy as the original (screen looks faded) even though it was advertised as original part. But I just wanted the phone to work & so I brought it..

Its upto you.. You have to risk it while buy these parts & there is no guarantee how long it will work.. But as phones get old, spare part prices go down.. you can keep replacing those parts.

If you can take it to a third party shop, you can request to test the screen before installing (or before gluing phone), also you have the chance to bargain..

My screen got completely fuggd after the last update to oos12. I never reached out to OnePlus about it but I wish I could repair it myself but never found a decent, legit looking site to buy the replacement screen from. Any help would be appreciated.

They are very easy to replace & put back together. Unlike phones today which are put together in superglue.

Neo, 13 Jan 2024Has anyone tried replacing the battery with a (supposedly) ... moreI've been using my OnePlus 7 since december 2019 and I'm still really happy with it. Battery cpacity did go down the drain near the 4 years mark so I decided to replace it. I didn't do it myself but I did replace the battery just about 3 months ago, it doesn't feel like when it was brand new but it was a major improvement from the old one. I can go throughout most of my day without worrying that it's gonna die on me.
I think it was a nice move; it was way cheaper than getting a new phone + I really have no reason to stop using this one other than that, it's still in very good condition

Has anyone tried replacing the battery with a (supposedly) OEM battery from aliexpress? The replacement is so simple that I think it's a waste of time and money to send it to the service center. I'm thinking about replacing the battery, I've had the phone for 4 years and the battery has lost a large part of its capacity, maybe I'll change the display as well, the parts are cheap, basically I can replace them for €110 battery and new display with frame. + sticker of the back cover

A have my OnePlus 7 since July 2019 still has original battery running latest OOS12 and battery lasts whole day with 20% left the evening. No gaming, lots of browsing calling and messaging have 2 SIMs online. If you don't treat your battery nicely it will go early - don't charge to 100%, don't drain to 0%.

The last budget phone or flagship killer phone that oneplus released. I have been using the phone for last 3 yrs and its a beast I must say! Yes, there is less battery capacuty, but for me,I have a 20W charger, charged upto 60+% within 30 min. So,no worry!! My personal rating - 8/10
