Hands down the best Android phone in 20/21. I had the Huawei mate 20 pro prior to this phone...the Huawei was gr8 and everything but z OnePlus 8t is faster in everything...and has the best OS( oxygen OS) UI. I recommend anyone looking for a budget smartphone to buy z OnePlus 8t. If you're a music person buy a wireless headphones or buy the OnePlus qired earphones, any other won't work perfectly on the phone.

I love how fast this phone charges; compared to other phones I have used, or phones used by family/friends, this thing is orders of magnitude ahead.
It actually does charge to full in 30ish minutes. (from like 5-10%, I don't kill the battery regularly...)
The 65w charger is almost laptop strength; I have used it to charge my Surface Book 3 (left charger home when I was at work :( )
It kept my Surface Book 3 topped off when doing youtube/light gaming and it kept the computer alive for a pretty long time when running Cities Skylines considering it has a 127w charger I call that a win.

YUKI93, 03 Sep 2021I'm sorry, IP68 rating and yet "not for use under... moreDevices backed by an international standard rating of IP68 are deemed fit enough to withstand dust, dirt and sand, and are resistant to submersion up to a maximum depth of 1.5m underwater for up to thirty minutes. *Based on test conditions for submersion in up to 1.5 meters of freshwater for up to 30 minutes.

I'm sorry, IP68 rating and yet "not for use underwater, liquid damage is not covered under warranty"? Then what's the whole point of giving an IP68 rating in the first place if it's not for underwater use? OnePlus may as well not include it from the start.

what, 25 Jan 2021Please. What is the difference between OnePLus 8T+5G and On... moreI had this same question but I think I figured it out. One of them is the verizon version I think it is called Oneplus 8T 5G UW and supports mmWave.
                            https://www.verizon.com/smartphones/oneplus-8-5g-uw/?cmp=KNC-C-HQ-NON-R-BP-NONE-NONE-2K0VZ0-COE-GAW-71700000071414561&gclid=CjwKCAjwoZWHBhBgEiwAiMN66V26xWloVOrszAvMKjNucI_rW1kSXKFGMXZiRTcgl9qLxj7LRdC8QxoC2wkQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

The other version is the T-Mobile/non-network branded version you can currently get on the oneplus website. I'm really not sure though. In case anyone is looking into this phone and runs into the same thing, you may want to double check and confirm which version you are buying.

sree, 01 May 2021s20 fe 5g sd 865 superfast device better than 8ttypical samsung fanboy
how in the hell is the FE better than of the 8T
the FE suffers with ghost touches and unresponsive screen touch inputs
one UI is infest with bugs making the phone slower then its rivals on the antutu scores (and all that unnecessary and useless apps and bloatware it has)
its camera sucks at low light photos compared to the 8T
                                        the 8T has
better cleaner software with oxygen OS with little to no bloatware
better build quality (plastic vs glass)
                                        better cameras (minus the telephoto)
