1.Watch6 h... more1.Watch6 has pathetic battery life - it's depend how you use it. I do not using sport modes yet (manual, i have watch just few weeks yet, so did not did a lot of things with it), always on display is disabled too. But i using always heart rate and stress measuring, blood oxygen (when sleeping), snoring and temperature. I trying everyday to do at least once to check: ECG, Blood Oxygen (manual), blood measure and etc. Daily usage is simple: notifications from apps, incoming or outgoing calls, messaging, sometime talking via watch if someone calling or i calling and something like this. Of course sleep and all measuring while sleeping as i mentioned. Battery from 100% (before i go to sleep i charging it everyday) to 50 - 60% draining around 17 - 19 hours. So i guess to 0% will be about about 25 - 27 hours or maybe more. Samsung said that without always on display it can hold about 30 hours, so it's not bad. By the way WiFi is disabled, but GPS is activated for some apps, sport modes and etc. I think it's not very bad result, but compare with my old Active 2 this model battery is worst as Active 2. Of course in Active 2 there is not many features. But overall it normal time i think having in mind all activated features. If you will use all the time, included sport modes of course battery will drain fast, but you have to understand that in watch there are a lot of features which require a lot of battery's energy. Others watch which do not have so many features battery hold energy better, but if you need only watch why to buy smartwatch then? By simple watch. In this watch is one of the best display, so it's normal that draining faster compare with watch which do not have many features and display like Samsung.
2. Not much difference compared to watch4 or watch5 as far as apps and features are concerned.
above two points concludes that waste of extra money to spend on watch6 compared to watch4 or 5. - But watch 6 will have extra years of updates, new processor, RAM and etc. When watch 4 and watch 5 will not get updates, watch 6 will get it and likely will get much more features in future. I disagree that is the same, right now is similar by features, but nobody know what will be in future. So always is better to buy new model.
Plus ECG and BP doesn't work with non Samsung phone. - Because all manufacturer trying to made devices with theirs ECO System so it's normal. Apple watches working with only apple smartphones too. When others will be so popular like is now Apple with Samsung i believe will do devices the same, right now Huawei even nobody adding to top watches ratings, Google with Pixel also working the best with Google devices i think, theirs watches is not so cool as is Apple and Samsung ii think.
So overall Samsung watch6 is poor buy. - I recommend to buy it, because these days i think is the best for android, especially Samsung users watch. Of course this is not just mine opinion, some expert saying the same, and of course Android users have alternative: Pixel, OnePlus watches and etc. but Samsung i think is the best choice overall.

I bought watch6 from Samsung experience(exclusive) store and I specifically asked them does all features specially BP and ECG works well with non Samsung phone? But as usual sales and support staff lied(which is common in Samsung exclusive stores) and blindly nodded in positive.
So overall Samsung watch6 is poor buy.

Somebody know how to uninstalled preinstalled app in Watch 6? Via developer mode and wireless debugging i can't connect with computer, phone and etc. I pairing devices via wifi, but i can't connect. I don't know where is problem, because internet working fine, devices (pc or mobile) connected with the same internet wifi, like watch 6. I tried ADB Control app, cdm on computer or in phone special app (can't remember name of app), but every there devices is paired, but not connecting. Maybe is for watch tool in Google Play to uninstall preinstalled apps? Like is for smartphones.

its a smurf, 11 Mar 20241. Not something i would buy a new watch for but fair enoug... more1. I agree it's not most important reason to buy, but i think would be one of reason. To change watch 4 band is in some kind challenge. Why do not to do that easier?
2. It's not true. Worse battery life can be for many others reasons: bluetooth technology, user big activity with watch, gps, always on display and etc. If you will use device too much any battery will not be alive for a long time. To use in moderation is possible to get not bad result even with good display or faster processor. First Samsung's watches had amazing battery too, but worst display, processors and limited features. I like to have good device with all features which i need with a little bit worst battery neither to get good battery with very limited watch functions. If watch is smart, it have to be smart. In other way will be only watch.
3. Is, but how i saw Samsung like to give limited new functions in older models. I thought too to buy cheaper watch 5 or watch 4, i knew that some new functions will come from watch 6. But i remembered that with watch 6 i will get future new functions which will comes i think from future models, so longer update process, new features which will not get watch 4 or watch 5. Also i have nit 2000, better processor and more ram and etc. Features comes, but not all and it is not mean that all time. It's just few function came from watch 6, but after released ran away only more as 6 months. Updates period of watch 4 will end in 2025, watch 5 in 2026 yeah? I will get updates till 2027 comes, it's mean 1 - 2 years more in which can come out much more new features. Which will not get watch 4 or watch 5 i think. We will see, but every process in earth have limitations. Devices updates have too.
I disagree that there is no any reasons to update to watch 6. If you think like that you should update devices then every 10 years. I agree from watch 4 to watch 6 is not very big update, but anyway it's update with more RAM, better display, processors and etc. So is reason. It's more depends or this is need for you. I mean if you do want more RAM, better display and etc. You can be with watch 4 or watch 5, but if you like to get always the best you can update. I had tizen watch so for me it was big update. Who have wear os already have to see how all new stuff is need it for it.

2. Faster proccessor and bigger screen yes but that ultimately means worse battery life. To add salt to injury the gw 5 pro has more battery than any gw 6 variant.
3. Well as you said, they are in the older models now
4. Its the same as gw5 but an upgrade from gw4 that's true
And yes the gw5 was basically a glorified gw4 too, if not worse even given they took out the rotating bezel form the classic (pro) models.
At the end of the day my point is that if you own a gw4, there is still 0 reason to upgrade. Looking in the phone market there are many more features and improvments introduced with each gen (just look at s24). Figuring out how to make the battery last could be a good start. Still a worthy upgrade from anything oder than the gw4 of course.

Disappointed with Samsung! Wat... moreI understand what you writing, what you mean and what everything is about. But anyway it's galaxy watch 6:
1. New straps stapling (i have watch 4 straps/bands too, believe me it's much more fantastic if we talking about stapling: easy and quick process).
2. Updated specifications: processor, display and screen's sizes, at least sapphire protection, ram, battery and etc.)
3. Some new features: irregular heart rhythms, sleep coaching and etc. Yes i know these feature is in watch 4 and watch 5 right now too, but first it came to watch 6, always will come something new from newest models to older, so you can't call it ++, just because Samsung some older model updating too. Is some new specifications which is in watch 6 only.
4. Fast charging
5. Two new watch faces, which probably is in watch 4/5 too, but they came with this model first. The same i think will be with newest watch models too. To change watch 4 to watch 6 maybe is not big deal, but anyway will be more new features in future, because watch 4 updates will stops after 4 years, so it's mean next year, when watch 6 in 2027. So two years more updates.
I understand it's not big update from watch 4, but anyway is update with some new specifications which i mentioned. By the way i changed my from active 2, so for me it's bit update, people which had/have watch 4 is not big, but anyway it's new model. If you saying like that you should say the same with watch 5 in which probably at all was not any updated so much like in watch 6 was (battery, ram, screen/display sizes and etc)

Disappointed with Samsung! Watch 5 loses the rotating bezel, only for Watch 6 to bring it back as a "new" feature.
I still see a Watch 4 in my eyes.

I was surprised as you how cool right now Samsung everything making. Apple is really good product, but cost much more. Samsung giving for good price the same cool devices with the same cool features. So why to pay more? Good choice, i wish you good wearing. I hope will be only good experiences with Samsung devices.

Now after couple of months using it well the battery for me lasts 3 days and it's great overall! I might not going back to Apple again

Many things you can see in it, but there are many others too, Samsung created a lot of watch faces for WearOS watches which looks funny, cool and giving to us many information. I like Samsung products. Sometime support is weak like was with Tizen watches, but right now WearOS looks amazing. The best watches in the market i thing.
