In my last phone i needed to turn my phone region to India to have face unlock. Even tough i dont use the feature or want to use the feature but that was the only way

Don't listen to this Arbor and wait like a year so the os approves as the hyberos don't brick your phone. Useless person to listen when he dont even own the device so i dont know why he is in here even to talk about or advice anyone.

    Maybe you also go talk in Samsung S24 page that your A05 is trash with something ?
    Poco F series is flagship for Poco and X series is middle class for Poco series.
    You cant complain about your lower class device in higher class device page and give advice to people that are not interested in your lower class device

        I received the 1.0.5.0 build Global version (Stable Beta even though I'm not a beta tester) a few days ago, installed it OTA, everything seems good, no bugs as far as I can tell. Battery life seems to have improved a bit. The split screen functionality still doesn't work when using a third-party launcher, but that's what we've come to expect from Xiaomi when it comes to supporting third-party launchers. Other than that, the new build is smooth and resposive.

I am having to avoid using BT which is a real pain and I am very angry with Xiaomi for releasing H-OS with major faults.

                      Luckily this phone has a thriving custom ROM community with plenty of nice ROMs to choose from. I'd highly suggest unlocking the bootloader and installing an AOSP ROM.

                          This is actually a great phone right now.

                          No, scratch that, this is THE best bang-for-your-buck phone you can get right now on Aliexpress. It's super cheap, US $215!!! Holy hell. Imagine paying that low of a price for the SD7+G2, which performs almost like an 8 Gen 1.

                          I haven't seen such a good priced phone in a long time.

                          NOTE: If you search Redmi Note 12 Turbo, you will get better prices. This phone under the Poco brand is more expensive.

                            Unfortunate Person, 29 Apr 2024HyperOS ver 1.0 3.0 is full of bugs, recently after updatin... moreI agree about HyperOS 1.0.3.0 - on my Poco X5 I keep getting the volume warning popping up and it will not stop (tap 'Cancel' or 'OK' and it closes and then immediately pops up again. A reboot usually, and I mean usually, clears it, so I usually end up powering it on and rebooting immediately.
                            Bluetooth connections have become extremely unreliable as well, both with my car and a couple of other devices.
                            I would like to ditch this HyperOS and roll back, back that seems impossible.

Don't compare to lower specs Samsung, just call out all the OPPO/Vivo/Oneplus/Realme/iQoo/Honor/Huawei at this price point for similar specs smartphone, which is doing better?
                              Of course, I understand all these upgrade has a price to pay, we only can hope these getting better, start with Xiaomi 13T?

                                    POCO F5 comments: I play my games with highest graphic many hous until my phone has died. Cannot stand POCO problem.
                                    Other similar priced smartphone comment: I came from some lower grade phone, this phone is very good, no lag, my last cheap smartphone was a trash, I don't play game.
