MediaTek Dimensity 8300 will debut next week
Following the launch of its flagship Dimensity 9300 chipset, MediaTek is now gearing up to announce a more affordable SoC with the Dimensity 8300. The upcoming chip is confirmed to launch on Tuesday, November 21 at 3PM Beijing time (7AM UTC) and its introduction will be livestreamed on Weibo.
Reports from China suggest that the 8300 may adopt a 1+3+4 architecture with ARMv9 cores similar to the Dimensity 9300 but with slightly toned-down cores and clock speeds. Rumors claim a Cortex-X3 prime core clocked at 2.8GHz working alongside 3x Cortex-A715 performance cores @ 2.4Ghz and 4x Cortex-A510 efficiency cores @ 1.6GHz.
The GPU side is expected to be handled by the Mali G52 MC6 humming at 850MHz frequency. Dimensity 8300 will likely be fabbed on TSMC’s N4P4nm process.

Not really, it's gonna be 20% faster and very likely same price or cheaper. It's gonna destroy both sd7 2gen and 3gen because Mediatek has better price.

7+ Gen 2... Too expensive one...based on 8+ Gen 1. You take a flagships soc, clocked it lower, change the name... It was only made to remove Dimensity from AnTuTu Mid-range chart...probably sold under its price! 7s Gen 2 and 7 Gen 3 aren&...
