Meet Samsung B3410 and M3310 - pick either messaging or music

09 November, 2009

Did we miss something or was that Samsung who have forgotten to announce the Samsung B3410? Anyways, let's face the facts - announced or not, the phone is already available at the numerous stores in Spain. Next up on the list of unannounced Samsung devices is the M3310, shots of which were spotted in the wild.

Update 10 November: Samsung M3310 is now officially announced as well.

Samsung B3410

We saw the Samsung B3410 in the catalog of PhoneHouse Spain last month but there weren't much details on features and price. Well, today we've got it all since the phone popped up on the Russian website of Samsung. The side-slider packs a full QWERTY keyboard, a 2.6" 256K-color touchscreen and TouchWiz UI. There are not much goodies left on the spec list but you can't really expect more from a 150 euro handset.

Oh, yeah, there is also Bluetooth and quad-band GSM support, however, the thing lacks support for 3G or Wi-Fi. And the camera is only able to take up to 2 megapixel images and the videos max out at QVGA@13fps. Well, Samsung B3410 at least comes with an inbuilt FM radio and music player and has a microSD slot.

And if you were wondering why the full QWERTY keyboard, here comes the answer: Samsung B3410 support multiple networking services such as Facebook, Picasa, Flickr, Myspace, etc., so you can keep in touch with your friends around the clock.

Samsung M3310

This is the first time the Samsung M3310 sees the daylight of publicity and its official launch is still a mystery. Nevertheless, we have a bunch of official images, which have just been leaked as well as some of the most interesting features the device is expected to come with.

M3310 is the third dual-slide music-oriented phone made by the South Korean company (after Samsung i450 and Samsung F400) but unlike its bros, it is expected to be way more affordable.

The Samsung M3310 features dedicated external music controls, standard 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth v2.1 with A2DP and FM radio with RDS. What caught our eye were the stereo speakers situated in the upper slide out compartment.

The Samsung M3310 also has a microSD card slot, 2.1" display of QVGA resolution and a 3.2-megapixel snapper.

While everything up until now may have sounded like the description of any other slider, here goes a surprise. The M3310 is said to stay up and running for up to 75h of music playback through the headphones. Now that's a first.

Samsung M3310 is expected to be available in black with red accents and white with green accents but the market launch date and the price remains unknown.
