Meizu 17 launch date confirmed - May 8

Yordan, 22 April 2020

The Meizu 17 launch is becoming quite the saga, but at least there's now an end in sight. The company revealed its new flagship smartphone will arrive on May 8, as the previous date turned out to be an announcement of the announcement.

The Meizu 17 is going to have ultra-thin bezels, one front-facing camera in a punch hole in the upper left corner and what appears to be a flat-screen display.

Meizu was one of the first companies to reveal its flagship will have the Snapdragon 865 - the announcement arrived back in December when Qualcomm announced the chipset. Aside from that, we expect to see some sort of fast charging, four cameras on the back, lined up horizontally, and likely a 90Hz OLED panel.
