Meizu 18s, 18s Pro appear on TENAA with specs, pictures
Two Meizu smartphones were just certified by TENAA and the listing reveal most of their specs and design. They are likely the 18s and 18s Pro flagships since they share a lot of similarities with the Meizu 18 and Meizu 18 Pro. The main difference is the Snapdragon 888+ chipset, powering these phones.
The Meizu M182Q or the Meizu 18s has a 6.2” AMOLED screen with 1440p resolution. There are three cameras on the back with 64MP, 16MP and 8MP sensors. The front-facing cam does 20MP stills, all exactly matching the Meizu 18. However, this Meizu 18s has a 2.95 GHz CPU, which is the frequency of the plus version of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset.
The situation is similar with the bigger Meizu M192Q - 6.7” AMOLED with 1440p resolution and four cameras on the back in an L-formation. All other listed specifications are the same as the Meizu 18 Pro's aside from the CPU frequency.
It is not unusual for smartphone companies to relaunch their devices with an upgraded chipset, but it will be the first time Meizu goes for one of those refreshes. Unless, of course, the company has a surprise up its sleeve and the S versions actually bring upgrades not listed by TENAA.

There was a time when Nokia and Siemens were designing strangely looking phones. They were not popular. So there is nothing wrong with phones looking similar to others, as long as they are doing their jobs properly :)
