I think IP54 is fine for the rain but not for the bath.
For example my P40 has IP53 certification, I was using it under heavy rain very often and without umbrella, I never had any kind of issue with it.

Vinaigre, 02 Dec 2023You can put some repellent and it will be waterproof.Or just pay that price for a phone with 2024 worthy protection. Even the old galaxy s5 was better protected.
