Meizu sets launch date for 21 Note, reveals key specs

Meizu announced its exit from the smartphone market earlier this year, but then seemingly forgot about that and followed up with a launch of a 21 Pro flagship smartphone. Now, another handset is on its way and the company just confirmed its launch date, along with some key specs.

Meizu 21 Note will arrive on May 16 with a big battery and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset.

The phone will have a 1220p screen with 144 Hz refresh rate, which is more than the Meizu 21 Pro. It will have a 16 GB RAM option and a battery with a 5,500 mAh capacity.

We are curious about Flyme AIOS. Clearly, it is an AI-infused AOSP user interface that is an update over the regular FlymeOS. We expect to have some features that make the phone easy to connect to Geely vehicles with the FlymeAuto interface.
