I concur with the sound quality via 3.5mm connection. Very nice and possibly competitive with some dedicated daps. Mine cost only €130 from amazon.es. Excellent value for what it offers. Very overlooked device.

Just bought one the other day and it's much better than I was expecting .
The lcd is possibly one of the best I've seen in recent years , it's super sharp with high contrast and the colours pop , side by side with my oled there very little difference .
Touchscreen is accurate and responsive .
Build quality isn't bad ,no creaks and doesn't feel too hollow on the back or anything and has quite a weighty feel.
The software is almost stock and also has very little bloatware .
Performance wise , everything responsive and opens quickly in day to day activities .
I've only tried some games ,GTA san runs at full graphics with no stutters or lag , games like grimvalor and my time in portia run smoothly and look great .
Fingerprint scanner is integrated into the power button and is very fast and responsive .
The camera is good (better than most in this price bracket ), it has good dynamic range , the colours aren't over saturated or under done and there's a good level of detail ,skin tones look a little off but nothing too bad .
Night time shots have a bit of noise and lack detail bjt are acceptable for the price .
Reception is also very good and I can pick up a good signal in most places , however 3 (uk) doesn't work very well as I don't think it support all it bands.
The one disappointment is the mono speaker ,it gets loud enough and has good quality but it's a little treble heavy (an aftermarket equaliser app like PowerEQ works well) ,however music from the 3.5mm jack is great .
Battery life isn't the best ,but I still get around 5-6hr SOT.
I don't know what meizu update policy is with this phone , but I have already received one update out of the box .
All in all I'm quite impressed with the phone and thought I would share my thoughts .

This phone's Viability is all in on pricing. A 150 dollar price bracket can make this phone fine. A 130-140 dollar price bracket can make this phone Actually a good pick. Anything higher than 150 Is immediately e-waste
