Meizu VP shares first official image of Meizu 16s Pro

Peter, 14 August 2019

The Meizu 16s Pro makes frequent appearances in the rumor mill and the company has decided to share some official info to keep the hype going – here’s the first official image of the phone.

The rounded design with slim bezels seems very similar to the Meizu 16s. That conceals several upgrades, like the Snapdragon 855+ chipset, which posted an impressive score on AnTuTu earlier today. Also, that screen is expected to ramp up the refresh rate to 90Hz with a 120Hz touch sampling rate. The resolution isn’t changing though, it will stay at 1080p+.

That hasn’t been confirmed yet (though these specs were briefly published on Meizu’s official site). Anyway, we haven’t heard much about the camera so there’s a chance that the back of the Meizu 16s Pro will be identical to that of the vanilla model.

One thing that Meizu has confirmed officially is the unveiling date – August 28. That’s the last Wednesday of the month.

The main problem of Meizu is product availability and software support. Not the build quality and screen IMHO.
