Mainly two negative point
1) It has non removal battery.
2) U can use only one thing, Sim 2 or memory card at a same time

if you are having audio playback again and again.. restore your phone to factory settings... this will do good..

looks good. but, service is worst. i got speaker (ear piece) problem just after 15 days of purchase. i did't got any response from micromax service point even after one month.
Its really reticulus. so please don't buy any MICROMAX products...

Is it better ... moreThis is good handset i think. but nitro is awesome....
1.Camera-13mp,
2.Display-full hd,
3. Gaming- you can play any games in the market now like asphalt 8 and fifa 2014,
4.2 GB ram is super and true octa core processor with 1.3 ghz frequency.
5.Battery backup- around 1 day its depends on use.
so think b4 u buy any1..................

I have been using A 290 for last 2 months. one of the best phone i have used in this price. features are great for this price. and perfomance is also too good. but two days back i found the phone restarting continously. i tried resetting to factory defaults but still it gives the same problem. yesterday i visited the service center. after checking they said me that it has a board problem and they need to send it to bangalore for rectification. and it will take a month to get my phone back. i feel that micromax should improve the service part as they should provide all repairing facility in all locations. i knew that i can get this problem rectified in a day if i approch a local phone repair shop.but due to warranty i have to face this.rest all with the phone was ok till twodays back. and i am satisfied with the perfomance of the phone but really the service part make me disappointed.

It's a tempting phone but honestly don't go for it. I purchased mine two and a half months ago (approx.) and one week into the purchase the battery refused to charge. Handed it over to the service center and they "reset the software", hours later only to be faced by the same problem. Then they had me hand it over to the official service center because they had to "replace the mother board" and for the past two months I haven't heard about my phone. Emails aren't replied to and customer service is forever busy. The service center claims to be "out of parts" or the phone has been dispatched. Honestly, save yourself the trouble and money and invest into another phone.

My mobile was unable to charge I gave in service center they said they need to replace mother board and gave me back within 3 days and now it's working fine

i am using this since 2 months,It is price a back phone having good experience with this phone in a limited range.But Now i am geting a msg every time "Do you want to change the default write disk" .Now i am worried for the same how this is coming and hot i will resolve the same.Please suggest
