Yeah if u have purchased new mobile.. the battery will works gud till 40% then reduced to 1% very fast.
This happens because of not proper charging.
for newly purchased phone charge battery upto 8 hours once just after purchase and 30 min after having fully charged 100% whenever you charge...
Battery will give excellent performance.
i face these problems before but after chargin for 8 hrs once it works fine and giving 22 hrs daily for charging 2 hrs a day till 100%.

Everywhere i see comments nitro got bad battery i dont believe it because i never faced such problem its battery goes really slowly and stays till night
It doesn't have any major problem..
Phone is worth buying in its price ie12000

I am using this phone, for the last few months now. I bought it mainly because of the specs it offers at that price tag.
Overall I say, it is a good phone but there are few areas needs improvements.
1. While you are on the phone talking to someone, it switches off automatically, rather reboots by itself, even when you have enough battery strength. Not sure why this happens. I suppose it is because of loads of built in Apps, which monitors your handset usage for heating and browsing. However, I have not found a solution for this. Can someone tell me what setting changes need to be done to keep it ON all the time?
2. There is no way you can un-install pre-set software like "TrueCaller". the only way is to disable that and again enable when required. I don't understand why?
3. the handset overheats when you are playing high resolution games and battery dies very fast
4. Audio quality is just OK

fhone is good, but same battery problem n service centre is very poor service provide... for micromax plz review ur service fastly....ok

Hi,
I am using this phone from Diwali and amazed with its processing power.
But on major issue I have observed that -
- Battery of the phone drains very very fast from 70% to 5%
- Its very long time to charge (about 5 hrs) to charge battery from 0 to 100%.
I am really concern about the battery performance.
If you are planning to buy this phone, please consider these points atleast once!

the drawback of this mobile is the openning of vault after getting back to to home while using the kingsoft office, which is already inbuilt in phone

This phone has same battery issues as Canvas A250. Please check and then purchase this phone.

no any issue,
i just changed my mobile grand to nitro ,
this is much much much much better than grand,
camera is also fine nice hd recording

have bought new Micromax Canvas Nitro a month back. It worked well but now it has problem.
New the news application which is inbuilt on the handset and opens on left slide causing trouble. Whenever I want to come on home screen that news application appear and I can't come on my home screen. Please help me.

No battery issue. Full HD video recording. Stock Android experience with kitkat. Good gaming experience. Antutu score more than 28000. PPI is good. Camera is pretty descent with more than 10MP quality with good amount of detailing... What's more in 12K??

Pro- HD screen produce very true colors
No lag during any game
Sounds quality in headfone is pretty good
Camera is acceptable it's above than 8 mp bt not 13 mp
No heating issue till now
Battery is okkk easly last one day
Awesome look feels good in hand
Cons-
Sound loudness is low bt not too much
Camera in low light is worse
Today I updated new firmware update (13.8 mb) didn't find any change
