y this phone is still out of stock at all websites,, wheras doodle 3 which was released just now is available everywhere,,

Its been 2 months i brought this phone, this has wonderful look,good touch, its giving 8hours plus power back up.
Things which are making me to sell this phone:
1 buttons placement (power and volume) are too near
2 Its no gorilla glass, its normal glass
3 Its getting heated for 15mins of video calling, 30 mins of gaming, 45-50 mins continious calling.
4 Camera clarity is not soo good compared to samsung or HTC. primary camera is actually making pic too much smooth( if you zoom you can see pixels clearly-im not at all satisfied)
5 2Gb Ram and octa core processor phone and still its getting stucked at times.
6 both sim slots are micro sims

I had bought the Micromax Canvas Knight on the day it was launched.The delivery too was prompt and while unboxing the phone i was really impressed at the overall look and feel of the phone. It does look like a mix between the Sony Xperia and the iphone.
But thats where the feel good factor ended!!
After inserting the Sim and making the first call i realised the phone had a defective speaker.I couldnt make calls from my brand new phone. So as any concerned user i call the service centre and they tell me it will be replaced ,but upon going there i am told they have a seven day policy to replace phones and since i had come after that it wont be replaced.I am asked to leave my new phone that would now be sent to the factory to be repaired.
Now let me tell about the service centre (malviya nagar) .When i entered the shady looking centre ,one customer was already arguing loudly with the service centre employee and they were at the brink of coming to blows!!!!
I ignored it thinking it was a one off case but to my amazement in the next 2 hours that i spent there i saw numerous such cases with customers literally pleading for their phones to be returned even if not repaired ,but just give them their phones.Ohh btw micromax does not provide replacement phones for phones given for repair .If you dont believe me, please visit micromax's page on FB and linkedin .You might find a few of the numerous complaints made by me too.
Finally i decided not to hand over my phone and somehow get the head office to call this service centre so that my phone is repaired in a single visit since it was a minor issue.
Now when i visited the second time, the same service centre,same angry customers but somehow my phone was repaired.On being handed my repaired phone i promptly checked it ,made a few calls and lastly asked the micromax's employee to show that it was charging properly.
I was shocked to find that my two week old phone ,newly repaired phone, now wasnt charging properly .The employee said the IC was short and he didnt have the parts for it.
he noted the IMEI numbers and said ill be called when the parts arrive.Its been over a month and i am still waiting a call!!
If you want a cheap copy ,want to experience extreme frustration and anger while dealing with rude employees please buy this phone ,otherwise please please please dont go for a micromax.
PS : This phone has no good quality body covers available or scratch guards ,just pathetic !

This phone is rarely get in open market and not avail in Micromax website too. Is this a failure one? Is the MMX stopped this production?

Shall I purchase or not, in big confusion, and that too, its online purchasing, means what is the guarantee of good delivery, also service centre also not much in pune, hey is somebody from pune has MMX A350...?

AMIT GOEL, 01 May 2014this mobile is hang up & reboot automkatically customar... moreMy mmx turbo was having the same problem.If you take it to mmx service centre within 10 days of purchase and ask them for DOA LETTER they will replace it in few days.otherwise u will have to ask for a job sheet for its repairing.

Brilliant phone brilliant design brilliant performance
Just one heating problem, but that too not that much...
Dont pay attention to negative rumours
Just go ahead & buy it!!!
You will not be disappointed :)

canvas knight is awesome..initially i was disappointed by the camera bcoz it was clicking the pictures on 6 pixel setting....thanx to my hubby he gave a luk at d settings and made it to its real 16 pixel and then it giving gud picture clarity by defocusing d background...it just has one demerit dat is heat up factor but its worthless in front of its other specifications.thanx to my hubby he suggested it...love u aati..
