Micromax should provide us more details about its hardware and source code so that we can upgrade to 2.3. There are custom ROMs available for most of the phones, but not A60, if they provide us with information about the compatibility with other phone roms we could at least try.

I am using this Handset thats A60 Android
Its a very good mobile u can Use 3G much faster than as compared to other ....
u can use all the market applications in it...
also battery back up good & also touch screen is most senceble than other so at the end this is the best mobile as compared to others ....

That means They are selling nothing for the hard earning money you pay. Any they are selling this Nothing like Anything.
The worst mobile I have ever seen. Me and My phone took this phone. He found fault in charging and he returned it on the same day of purchase and got replacement. My phones touch stopped working in not even a week of use,the brand new phone is under repair since more than 40 days now (Worst service). Once they said it was done(after a month of long wait), but touch was still not working and I didnt took the delivery. Second time they called me that its done and when I went I saw that they were offering me a roughly used refurbished phone (scratched and coating was damaged), (at Prodcon Andheri).
I would really advice you guys to spend 1000 to 2000 more and take a nice Andriod of samsung, sony or any other nice brand and live tension free life. If you purchase this phone you will lose your hard earned 7 thousand rupees. I would not purchase a Micromax phone again. Its not worth even for Rs. 2000.

great fon.. using since 1 month now. superfast speed(surprising at its price), nice net speed(even on 2g networks), superb app support, easiest user interface(thnx to android eclair)... good sensitive screen even though its resistive.. battery life is a real downer.. not even 3-4 hrs on net n gps.. but everything else is a big plus.. one small complaint - i didnt at all fing d wallpaper or theme shown here in the above pic..

BIG B, 22 Apr 2011Hai, i'm planning to buy A60, whatz the main disadvantage o... moreMicromax a60 is probably better than nokia 5230...as nokia produces the worst touchscreen in terms of os and user interface...but as far as graphics are considered...5230 wins the race...yet its menu sucks...a60 is better as it has android os nd it a plus point...it has 2.1 eclair at really VERY AFFORDABLE rate...5230 posses a flash nd that too of no use...it gets crashd while click...allover..a60 is better...the only disadvantage in my view is its screen...it jst 2.8 inches...nd thats too is tft resistive..atleast they must have provided capacitive screen...else everything is finer if u charge it while in use at home..lots of apps are available at android market to make u busy...i recommend it...but if u cn add 3,000 bucks..u cn get lg optimus me next month with os android 2.2..its the best phone under 10k available in india..
