Please help me. I've upgraded my phone to android 2.3 (Gingerbread). Everything is good but the dialer is not as good as 2.1 (Eclair). Is there is any way to get 2.1 (Eclair) dialer?

kushagradeep, 31 Dec 2010the phone has no pc suite however you can back up your dat... moreDon't worry about PC suit. You can use "MyPhone Explorer" which can be used for any android based phones.

I have bought this phone for the price money 6.7k its far worth .
Only problem is battery is getting drained out with use of wi-fi gps & browsing(24/7) . so need to charge every day .
if the battery back up was good - would have beeen even better

arin, 31 Dec 2010can anyone suggest whether to buy nokia 5230 or micromax a6... moreNokia 5230 is way better deal than this so you can go and buy nokia 5230. this phone is also good only but the micromax service center is not good and there is many problem in this phone like camera not working and speaker problem within a launch of month.

however you can back up your data using gprs/wifi/3g with free apps like databackup, which backs up your sms and call log in your google account.
connect the phone to usb
go to notifications in a60
tap on the usb connected notification
transfer data to ur memcard

Reasons not to buy this crap:
1. worst looking phone iv ever seen.
2. cant trust 'MICROMAX'
3. dont know whethr they will giv update to android ver or not...

Hi All,
I purchased this mobile on 10th december2010
This mobile on paper appears good. I still didn't tested for 3G capability of this mobile.
But i had few observations.
Speaker volume is very low and of low quality.
Camera stopped working.
Emitting lot of heat.
otherwise phone and OS are awesome. I have given this mobile for replacement on 17th dec, since camera is not working. I am waiting for getting new A60.
dealer is saying no stock at all. Surprising?!
