BUNNY , 11 Mar 2012Iam using this phone for 3 months. I like it with no proble... moreinstall app2sd app from market & move all movable apps to sd cards & clear cache using d app...now check how much internal memory is available...if still it is low & u can't install apps..
install titanium backup (first u have to root :p ) & take backup of ur apps( so that u can reinstall them later,installing tb is optional,basically it helps to backup ur apps,even using tb u can move some apps like Google maps that can't be moved to sd card ) and export ur contacts to ur sd card & do a factory reset using recovery (factory reset removes all user apps & data only system apps will be there)...it should solve ur problem... :)

dear all,
an appeal to avoid unestablished brand - micromax.
micromax is only interested in sales and are having very poor service record. you may google it n see many complaints on service.
for a single problem in my "a70" i had to register 5 complaints, call up 'n' number of times to service center & call center. nothing works.
micromax claims that they provide urgent-special service to android phones customers, but i'm yet waiting for return of my handset even after 1.5 months.
in case of any doubts, once visit any service center, get the feedback from customers and then make purchase decision.
please save yourself... your money...avoid micromax.

Iam using this phone for 3 months. I like it with no problems but I have a doubt to carify. This phone is having190mb inbuild memory just I have installed 5 apps. These are having a sum of 16 MB memory. And I tried to install one more app with a capacity of 2 MB and the phone is notifying that memory is low. I couldn't install more apps in my internal memory. my SD free app showing that free memory is 18 MB. Please help me...

AnonD-45814, 10 Mar 2012i want assign the seperate song to my 1 contact number.. bu... mored process is little tricky...suppose ur default ringtone is tone1 & u want to set tone2 as ringtone for someone else...so first select d tone2 as ur ringtone,then again select ur previous tone1 as ur ringtone...now try to set ringtone for that contact & now u can set tone2 as ringtone for that person(now tone2 will come in d options along with preloaded tones),basically when u add any tone as ur ringtone from then onwards that tone will come as options along with other preloaded tones...

to root u need to install z4root app...to know more about rooting go to d link below...

after rooting u can install many helpful apps like titanium backup,rom manager etc...using titanium backup u can take backup of ur apps & u can also uninstall unnecessary preloaded apps by mmx(before uninstalling preloaded apps take backup of them so later u can restore them if needed)...using rom manager u can install clockworkmod recovery...using this recovery u can take backup of ur present stock rom( stock rom means which comes preinstall :p )...using cwm recovery u can also install custom roms...to see how to install custom rom visit YouTube & search "install custom rom on a70" there u can find videos how to root ur mobile,install custom roms :)

Hey guys, there are new phones from Micromax, 2 of them that I got on the net, on with touch and type and the other that looks like the superphone (atleast the pictures do). both for approximately the same price as the A70 and also 2.3 android. aint that neat....

Dear All,
Save your hard earned money. Please don't go for any such non-reputed brand. Spend little more, OR even settle for less features, but buying phone like Micromax like company will always prove to be wrong decision.
I purchased Micromax A70 and since 2nd week of usage I'm suffering with problem. Right now mobile is with company for more than 5 weeks. For last 3+ months I'm struggling to get the phone issue resolved, but no relief so far. On top of it, many service centers in Mumbai/Thane have stopped servicing Micromax.
PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF...AVOID MICROMAX.
