I wrote I did it. and for an hour or so. I didn't check how long actually it will support from its 100% battery till its full drain. But guess it should be 4-5 hrs. but not sure.

I have purchased this phone a week ago from letsbuy using a coupon code at 6857/-. I am satisfied after using it w.r.t. its cost. i find it worthy as it is
- smooth, its touch screen as well as display,
- able to use front camera for Fring video call.
- Able to use it as Wifi hotspot , connected to it from laptop, even with Airtel 2G connection. Range may not be great . Used it as wifi client , it is pretty good.
- able to open / edit Ms Words , excel etc with Free (90 days) Office Suit. Big pdfs creating problems for later pages.
- able to run all types of videos like 3gp( H.263), avi, mp4 , wmv etc , even Flash video with mobo video player 5, but for some cases (Flash) sound - video is not in sync.
- Battery life , for moderate use, ~ 1 day
- 5MP back camera is OK type , Good in presence of adequate sun light.
- Not yet upgraded to Ginger Bread, but I think it is possible, I will upgrade it later, as up-gradation will void warranty.
- Also Skype (voice call) works fine with 2G
Overall I am happy with this little beast.

some one tell me how is the vibration of this phn?? is it irritating as al the micromax phns or is it smooth?

d, 22 Sep 2011Do hd games work here? shift, asphalt, rf or nova?I dont know about all games but I purchased Asphalt HD and it worked on A-70. I mostly play angry birds and mini-squadron.

sajal, 19 Sep 2011ya it will be upgradable to 2.3 ginger brade. i confarm it... moreto whom did you confirm.i too sent mail to micromax official and they simply refused that a70 will have gingerbread update.
