This phone is better than other branded handsets in this price.but battery backup is not good as nokia.

Hi guys in some reviews they say tht the capacitive buttons are not backlit n so difficult to use in dark...is it so?

Hi guys
I don't know why you have bought this phone if you are expecting samsung galaxy s iii performance in a budget of 6000 rs
this is a very good phone in budget who can tweak their phone....
I have successfully rooted my micromax a 87 and uninstall some useless app that came pre installed with this phone
now my ninja 4 loaded with 34 apps on sd card and six app on phone memory and still have 98 mb free space
and still having 64 mb free ram
this phone is just awesome
amazing display
all you have to do tweaks your phone at your own risk to make it better
I am very happy with my phone

Also, after rooting it, can we unroot, if there is a problem later in the phone??

WORST PARThey guys....to play heavy games like gta3,contractkiller,shadowgun,skateboardparty etc at low price....celkon a97i is best and must to buy at 8k....if u dont believe then its ur wish.....bye

Guys, i dont kno why people expect so many things in such chip prise,
but I say when i am spent so little money I will never expect more.
As I hv posted before about this phone this time i wanna add some more.
first thanks XDA I hv successfully rooted my A87 then then guess what, I cant belive myself.
the device is performing way above my expectation.
today i have installed google earth, its experience cooler than my Pc experian.
after rooted my device I am 150% happy with my phone...........

No doubt Micromax is the emerging indian company but it's a long journey to beat the gian like Samsung, Sony, HTC in advance mobile phones. But we have the trust on Micromax

How did you manage to increase your Menory??? In my set ram usage is showing less then 1mb free... And i am unable to run simultaneously many apps.. Do you face the same problem??? pls suggest procedure
