best phone under 6000. many people think to buy Samsung star instead of it bcoz for them micromax is a new company in the market . but this is a foolish thought, this phone is working quite nicely .believe me there is a big difference between both the phones screen size and processor too.the only problem with the phone is with its battery backup . if u use it constantly for 3 hours then the battery will be discharged but if use it efficiently then it will run atleast for a day. believe me best phone under 6000.

good features... poor battery bt camera of all micromax is poor...and the phn gets heated..

I bought this phone 2 months ago. Good design. Slim. Highly sensitive touch. The camera quality is not so high due to fixed focus camera. But luks not bad in daylight photos. Battery backup depends on how hardly you use it. Still thats not much bad. Very good screen quality due to high pixel density. Supports 720p playback without help external players. Bluetooth transfer speed is good. You can transfer files over wifi using an external application called 'Flash Transfer' to any android phone having installed the same app in it. Very Good internet speed both on wifi and network. Easy handling. I would say its much good for Rs.6000-6500.

Dear friends really I was the mobile hunter and couldn't make the decision whether should I go for mmx or the branded one (Nokia/Samsung.After reading the user's opinion I gambled with my hard earnings& brought the mmx a89 on first week of June 13 which works brilliantly till date.Everything is fine except the poor battery backup .But for the price around Rs 6.5k its unbeatable than all of its counterparts .So my valuable advice would be...Don't worry & go for mmx****Nothing like anything ***.

Hi friends. I bought this micromax a89 1.5 months ago. Good budget phone with lot of features. But my GPS is not working. I tried it once with Google navigation along with wifi on. It worked for that session. After that i tried to use GPS several time with Wifi on and off, but it is not working. I am using Google navigation and Maps. The message which i get is "Waiing for GPS". I would like to know whether i am using it correctly/should any setting changes be made. Can anyone help here. Thanks.

sabari, 19 Jul 2013nice mobile....Have a nice handset and touch is very nice , in this handset every game support like tempal run , sub way surfer ,city jupm ,angery pigs .i like handset tauch and apps all of in lowest rate and its clearity is nice and battery is going down very early
other wise handsate is very nice and i used if since last 3 months

a89 is a very good mobile after use i dont have any problems and battery back up is not a poor all andriod phones same problem so pls dont have false comment firstly use this phone micromax is very good mobile phone company to gave peoples new experencces.
