Overall what the use if it is a great mobile. Last month I bought a new A89 and it stopped recharging...took it to the service center and to my surprise people who bought this 5 days were in the que and most of the people had....battery charging issues and software issues. Well I learnt a lesson to not to just read and beleive in the forums. Infact my old trusted phone came to my rescue. Brands are brands guys. And still waiting for it from last 17 days pathetic service too. Well I am not serprised if this post is deleted.

Suddenly net browsing is getting slower day by day in my 89 . Any suggestion? Another point, is the sound low as mine in this set? Thanks

Hi:
I can't seem to get the Micromax Ninja A89 to work in the USA with either AT&T or T-Mobile SIM cards.
I emailed the Micromax customer support and got a reply the phone supports the US radio frequencies, but no information why the phone does not work.
Incidentally I have a Micromax Canvas 2 which works fine with both AT&T and T-Mobile.
Any advice?
From what I can find the chipset inside both A89 & Canvas 2 is about the same and they run similar Android version.
