If you want to decrease heating problem follow the following. Root your A89, Install"MTK6577 Governor Switcherv3". Heat is 50% less, battery stays for 30 minutes more than before. Other versions like v10, v11 got more features and bugs. Thebest one is v3.

Also use a 5v 1A charger. The a89 has 5v 500ma charger. It will decrease charging time to 2.5 hours instead of 5. The phone didnt heat while charging. But still use another charger at your own risk.

smarty, 04 Apr 2013who is the best a89 vs karbonn a15 plz rly.i have both hand set a15 and a89.actually my close friend is using 89 and his set bettry back up is very very bad.taking charging time up to 3 hour, an u cant charge it by usb if u try then it will take up to 8 hours its true. i exchange my handset with pardeep's a89. after 2 days use i found this is third class in compare to a15. at last my friend give me my handset back to me just for our friendship.before this i was using a57 ninja that was also 3rd class . isale it only ion 2500.......

This is a good fone. Problems are: heating and battery backup.512RAM is not enough,but in this price range,this is the best fone.
