Hi,
Its been one year now since I started using Micromax A90. Awesome phone for me.
Till date I'm connecting to internet from Wi-Fi at my home so never felt the need for the use of GPRS. But now badly in need of GPRS for the internet purpose.. :(
I have access point name, proxy evrything set in the mobile(I confirmed from customer care as well). After that I have cleared the browser cache memory as well.
Still unable to connect to internet.
Can anyone please help me with this issue?

This is for all those who face lags and hangs on the a90, first of all its Android you cannot expect smooth long lasting performance from Android unless you restart occasionally, all droiders Shud know that, so I have a better idea that will make you phone run smooth as butter on everyday usage.
Go to Settings>scroll down to schedule power on /off>select a time when you don't use your phone like when you are sleeping for eg.
Power on:4:34am, power off:4:30am make sure that the power on and off boxes are checked(tick mark, by clicking on the small squares)
This make a full restart of your Android and will ensure a smooth performance in everyday usage. Also I have this mobile since over a year and 2months did not face a single hardware or software issue. I have no regrets, except when it comes to hardcore gaming leaving that this phone is the best for everyday usage in terms of price bracket and having the best quality of display in its budget segment.

Micromax A90 has very poor battery life.A dual sim phone like this require a minimum of 2000mAH battery.
512 MB RAM is very low for internet browsing and gaming and so this phone hangs a lot.
As internet itself is expanding,atleast 2GB RAM is reqiured in android OS for smooth browsing.
Also camera quality of this phone in dim light even with flash is very poor.
I very well know this phone has been released 14 months back,but inorder for better functional and user friendly phones in future may this serve as a guideline.

selva, 28 Jul 2013in this there is no g talk but u have mentioned here... y s... morewell. Google replaced GTalk with Hangout. So, you will not find Gtalk anymore. If you have phone that was packed with Gtalk, it will be replaced with Hangout upon update from Google Play.
However, you can roll back the update and then never choose to update to Hangout by altering the Play Store setting to manual update.
I like the simple Gtalk, hence rolled back to it.
Similarly, Google has merged Navigation with Maps. IMO, it's a bad move!

well guys i also have Micromax A90, and i am happy my set have not created any problem of any sort.
my phone have been working just fine and my personal it's not bad to buy a Micromax Phone.

i bought micromax a90 before 8 months... unfortunately the display was broken... I contact to service center to rectify this they asked around 8000 rupees..... don't buy micromax company mobile go for branded one

i am also a user of Micromax a90s mobile, but in this mobile a lots of problem that is hang a lot of times, if i play any video then video stop any time, when i cal any one then it hangs, i suggest that those people who want to bought this mobile never bye this mobile

My system micromax a90 giving me lot of problem,mainly hang up. Two times I have approached the authorized service center and updated the software.The problem still exist. A red rectangle is appearing at the boarder of the screen why?Why I am not able to operate the Navigation.After opening typing of destination the app is getting closed.The service center insisting me to leave the mobile for two weeks to investigation and repair works, in fact I have to be there without phone or I have purchase another,Is it possible? why don't you give a base phone to fill the gap till repair work is over at least in warranty period.Please look into this matter.Most of the company give chances to upgrade the system why micromax not thinking that way.
