Open the file you wanna set as ringtone using es media player.
Set ringtone option is available at top right corner.

I bought this mobile 5 days ago, this mobile is awesome but the battery backup is poor. It coming maximun 4 hrs. how can i improve battey backup. plesase give some suggestion to improve battery backup.

Hi guys I'm using this mobile more than 3 months
It is good phone in this price range, its having file manager and gallery drive and photo respectively, if u want additional file manager or gallery download from play store, I'm using Es file explorer and Sony's album as a gallery (its not available in play store)
It support full HD videos and high end games I'm playing Gt racing 2 smoothly and only negative I found battery it not last long. But avarage. While using internet it drain in 4 hrs. I give 4/5. Its good phone.

3)Scan your phone.
4)Before surfing any site, be aware of unwanted bugs/cookies/and unwanted virus.

This is an excellent phone. I have been using this phone for over a month. My personal experience with the device is as follows:-
Pros- 1)Excellent value for money product.
2)One of the best phone with 4.5 inch android touch screen.
3)No problem with multiple apps/software whatsoever.
4)Good to hold at hand/good design.
5)Ram/Rom is very good. I have installed 16GB Kingston memory card and having no problem at all.
6)Camera is average. Video is excellent at 1070p.
7)Touch screen is smooth and I do not find any problem with it.
8)Ram is 1GB and Rom is 4GB and I have installed an additional 16GB memory card. I am having no problem with any issue.
9)It uses android 4.4.4 version, which is the latest one.
10)Call reception is loud and clear, I am using Airtel 3G connection for inter net and voice call. The micro sim is working fine.
11)Installation of Apps and Playing of high end games like call of duty is not an issue.
12)Cricket and football game is working fine.
13)Geo tagging of photo also works.
Cons:-
1) Poor battery backup.
2) If all apps run the battery does not run for 8Hrs.
3) If traveling outside some additional power pack is a must.
4) If Internet is off than battery works for 10 to 12 hours.
5) at least 2000mAh. battery should have been given.
6) 1700mAh.is not sufficient at all.

Some people has been thinking bad and posting worst coments ,but in my view it was a great device in the performance as we concern in the price tag,morover the front camera just was super as wel as rear camera too. . .it deos nt consist of gallery option since this device is tie up with google for two years hence the google decided that every user should use their apps like google camera,google photos,play music etc this is the isue behind thiz,so this fault was not from micromax android one. .and the lolypop update wil get feb startng ,we need to wait as like samsung and zenfore user. Thank u

Also these phone have Gallery. App name is a PHOTO.

siddharth, 17 Jan 2015My whatsapp don't work with mobile internet connection but ... moreYour whatsapp App seems to be corrupted. So uninstall the app and reinstall it. Before re-installing whatsapp, clear cache from SETTING>STORAGE>CACHE DATA.
** Also make sure you have taken backup of conversations before uninstalling.

This phone have no gallery option and there is no file manager option..can't create any personal folder in SD card which is tippicall..plZ give me a solution.. If I update the phone by 4.4.3 or 4.4.2 should I get gallery options??
