when sync gmail also changed ... more1.No u cant edit whatsapp list. All u can do is just block the contact from sending messages through whatsApp.
2.Every messaging App be it whatsapp, skype, viber, facebook messanger, hangout, viber, wechat, hike etc all read your contact list. So there is no security for it. Only security is to download trusted Apps or buy a feature phone to keep it safe.

keyan, 12 Jan 2015How To Delete a Whatsapp Contact in canvas A1Whatsapp reads ur contact list everytime u use whatsapp application. So if u delete contact from contact list it will be deleted from whatsapp too.
But if u just want whatsapp contact to disappear then u need to add contact to block list in whatsapp app itself.
