Bhimashankar, 28 Nov 2014i purchased mmx canvas a1 mobile after diwali. it is the fa... moreit will connect. connect 1st ur phone to PC. confrim by lighting sign on battery icon. then goto setting>storage>click on three dots> click in usb computer connection> select media devices(MTP)nd u will see ur sd card will detect by Pc

or
use good speed internet connection of ur friend through wifi hotspot.
or
dwnload file exlorer and superbackup from play store in ur friend's android phone having good internet speed.made backup of all softwares. transfer these to ur phone through SD card or bluthooth (in form if cimpressed zip files using file exlorer)or through wifi (using soft. like sender, xender etc). then ooen it in ur phone with setting>securitu>unknown devices>select

i m using this phone..... now a days its the best phone ever with this price rang....... it also has a memory card issue.... when i m inserting a micro sd card it showing me "the memory card is damaged" but when i m using the same memory with another phone its working normally....... and sometime automatically the memory card unmounted..... after restart its working......... its a very gd phone go for it...

there is a big problem of network it is showing very less network and when i enter the sim card on my othere simple phone then its full network.

i purchased mmx canvas a1 mobile after diwali. it is the fantastic mobile. rear camera is best. i am using 2g or 3g now. internet speed is fast. overall performance is better. but mobile phone is not connecting to computer by usb.

Google has published this android one phone config for giving the best experience to new android users. Even myself had a great experience from this mobile. Still, this mobile has 2 serious issues. Poor battery back up and rear camera is not up to 5 mega pixel and also it has hide l huge advantages like, front camera is far better, 4.5 inch screen, smoother touch, faster since it has quad core processor and 3G speed is upto it's high end. And also the white model is the most attractive and cute. I would give you 4/5. I advice the manufacturers to focus on battery backup issue in future special models like this one.

or
u can use wifi based software like "Xender" to transfer ur apks.
or
microSD card is complusory for this device. u can use it as a medium to transfer apk files.
