I'm facing this issue with all 3 Canvas A1 phones. I'm not facing this issue with other Android phone like Xperia. It's not downloading no matter whichever WiFi network I connect with.

Like, I said I'm not even able to download by switching WiFi network. I've tried to use 3 different WiFi network. The strange thing that I've noticed is I'm able to download apps from play store at night around 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM only (Using same WiFi network). Then for entire day I'm unable to download. Also, not to forget to mention that other same Android phones on my network are able to download while I'm unable to. I've also tried to perform factory reset of phone. Can you please explain then how you think this is WiFi netowk issue or problem with WiFi network?

Worst mobile.. No file manager. Es file manager not working properly for transfering files through Bluetooth, share it application

This device is best deal @ this price. Plays 720p videos , can play games like asphalt 8.good camera quality.

Hi., my previous phone is Sony xperia m.now I'm using canvas a1.I am feeling difficult to use this phone. Please suggest me optimal apps for file manager, LED light indication, power saving and battery level indication, launcher app,etc...it may be useful for so many friends who are using canvas a1

Anonymous, 27 Sep 2014I'm not able to download any app from Google Play Store whe... moretry n check ur playstore settings, may be u have selected download over mobile data in the download option in the setting. i have heard 1st time of someone facing this kind of issue so try changing the settign or the best thing u should do is to reset ur phone. always works for most of the mobile software issues

I'm not able to download any app from Google Play Store when I'm connected to WiFi. It give some error with number i.e. 864. I visited Micromax service center and they said that they haven't come up with the new software for this phone yet. I've 3 phones and all 3 of them have same issues. I'm able to download apps using mobile data but I'm unable to download the apps from WiFi. Even if I connect to other WiFi network it won't download any app. It won't even update any app.
I've tried to clear cache and also tried to perform factory reset of the phone. Still not solved.
Amazon was good enough to take the phone back in 30 days replacement. Thank god.

Is anyone facing some issue while downloading apps from Play store in A1 Canvas?
Don't buy this phone as you'll not be able to install any app.
