This phone have no default file manager that's why you are having issue with installing and also it will not install if you are transfering through Bluetooth ot Wi Fi Direct.

again a pice of crap. .the good thing is jst android one. .excet all specs ar very very wrost. .poor dull lcd. wifi dsnt work . .sim slot wont work and it shows unkn sim. what the . . . . . dont buy it. .i jst waste of money on this crap. .i.m going 2 sell it on olx. .hope any stupid people can buy it.

WiFi disconnects every time, this is the 7th day it s happening. Problem is with this mobile not my WiFi rooter
Anyone help me, because I have to switch my mobile off n then on in order to get connection back
Does hard reset will solve this problem?
Any other people facing this problem?

All things work perfectly in this phone of the apps preinstalled .
I have some apk in my laptop for android phone which I need to install in my canvas a1 android one mobile of micromax .I have even checked to accept data from Unknown resources in settings but apk files are not received .I can receive mp3,mp4 files but not apk in this phone any solution to this problem .Without apps I feel it is a waste.Please provide a solution.

Please let me know how to set any song/mp3 as ringtone for this device? Someone said we cant set. Is it true? I tried but failed.

Please help, today we received 2 sets of micromax a1 but unable to connect 2g 3g data we are using bsnl sim,every thing sim,network,apn setting is ok but no data signal e/h/3g...but wifi is ok..help help

Battery is very. Very bad only 2 to 3 hours battery drain 95 t 5% without use games internet .
Only play some music.
