I was using micromax canvas a1 since 4 months.right now I am not able to add any contacts.I have almost 2900 contacts. Even If I save a new number. After saving that number,I can't able to retrieve it.

How to adopt SD card as internal storage on Marshmallow
1. Go to phone Settings and select Storage
2. Select your External SD Card and then select Erase & Format option
3. You will get an option Format as internal storage. Select Erase & Format
4. On the next page, select Use as internal storage and tap Next
Your SD Card will now be formatted as internal storage and encrypt it. Enjoy your extended internal storage and freedom from low storage space issue.

Those who did not get the update till now try this method. First disconnect from any net connection then go to settings and then to app then clear data from Google app Google play service and Google service framework then reboot your device then turn on net.try this method several time hope you'll get the update soon.

I received marshmallow ota update notification last night and downloaded it over WiFi. Initialy phone was slow and coaching. I rebooted twice, and backed up my SD card in pc and selected memory card as internal storage . After doing so and clearing CACHE, my phone has again got fast.
Marshmallow is faster a d smoother than lollipop, provided the apps you use support it. Even clearing CACHE, without factory rest does the job.
Overall marshmallow update is amazing

After andriod 6.0 update my battery started to drain quickly.
It even doesn't last for 10min if WiFi is turned on.

I got the update notification. Removed lot many apps, still wasn't able to update my phone due to insufficient memory space. So did a factory reset. After that I don't see any marshmallow update, despite checking on system updates!
