Ho... more1stly u need to unlock bootloader of you device (May void warranty)Google it.
After that grab the official kitkat from any firmware hosting website for your device and flash it with sp flash tool and than relock your bootloader you are done :)

just purchased this device 3 days ago and m totally frustrated with it i mean it was so good when it was on 4.4 kitkat on the 1st day when i got this device it was on kitkat and all was perfect i was satisfied in all the terms like its a perfect device in this price segment for a normal middle class indian like me a package for complete value for money. but after updating it to lollipop i feel very disappoint i found that battery performance reduced 3x times camera quality also very low as compared to the boxed version of android (Kitkat 4.4.4) there is also some lags when it comes to multitasking while having 1 gb ram it only has average 300 mb free always rest of memory used by unwanted apps like google news youtube blah blah and the funny part is they are not running at current time still uses alot of ram dunno y background process consuming alot of space yes its true that behind my purchase my real reason was that its a complete package around 5-6000 it has lollipop 1gb ram blah blah but after updating i feel disappoint going to downgrade it to kitkat thanks alot i know the procedure for this. for all the users who have it or planning to purchase my suggestion for those is there is no doubt its a awesome featured device but stay on kitkat dn't update it to current lollipop maybe google will fix those issues m facing in future release or provide patch updates till than wait and dn't update.

Krishna, 29 Apr 2015Guys, After updating the SW to 5.1, Menu screen(after pr... moreyes, go to play store and turn auto upgrade off for all apps....and then uninstall the updates of google apps...this will solve your problem.

I update lollipop in my phone but it does not support whatsup & uc browser .it reduce camera quality & photo size. some options of photo editor does not supports.is there any solution.

I,m feeling eye strain on this IPS LCD screen, specially during reading PDF. using blue light filter but no different. what kind of app or screen saver will be helpful? thanks

Guys,
After updating the SW to 5.1, Menu screen(after pressing three dot button on home screen)turned with all apps in white back ground which i dint like, is there any option to remove the white background other than installing any launchers.

3g not working, after recharge 3g data, still my phone shows E symbol only. Lolipop updated, is there any further updation?

before the updatation of lollipop my mobile was support the auto Brightness from the 360total Security App...but after the installation of lollipop that auto brightness feature does'nt supporting....
please fixed it as possible as you can.....

MMX canvas a1 is one of the a1 mobile... This phone is awesome and excellent.... Now onwards I'm a lollipop user....this is the best phone....after lollipop update battery back up will be increased.... So don't worry about this phone...just go and buy the phone

Its all OK with its upgrade to lollipop5.1... just shutter speed of camera slowed down. data management & app management are very much customizable... battery statistics is quite useful... UI is colorful & you can play with it... Led light notification = colors are absent... *NEW thing= "Priority Notifications"
