2. Try listening through a different music app such as VLC which has a 10 band equalizer. Start with the flat position and slide up the leftmost 3 sliders till the bass increases without any distortion. Then slide up the rightmost sliders around 75 % till a pleasant balance of sound i reached.
You may have to increase the volume also.
