Robert, 03 Dec 2013I am thinking about getting micromax turbo but its battery ... moreBattery is non removble so no prblms with dat. Usually the battery does not get damaged it happens only in one of case. If it happens then the battery can be replaced in MMX service center.

... moreGaurav I think the negative points acc. to can b neglected. non removable battery shuldnt b a prblm as we dont remove battery daily, do we?
With regards to extended memory card u can buy a OTG cable and attach a 32 gb pendrive it that not a hassel to you.
These are my views. You r going to spend for ur mobile handset, so now its completely ur decision.
I own this handset n it feels premium as I am happy with it. Until now i did not have ne prblms yet as it is just a month old.

Confirmed 100%,written statement from my friend at MMX.
I know lot of people are expecting from Micromax canvas 5 this time too. But being an employee of MMX, I would like to request all our well wishers not to create false hype and fuss about our products. This somehow hits us once the product is launched. We are always in process to make us better and bring best product forward in best possible market price.
Micromax canvas 5 akka micromax canvas glee (post production alias name).
It would be an octa core with latest mediatek SOC, 1080p 5″ OGS display, But no screen protection is there. Also ram is not 3 gb. Its 2 gb.
Memory is not expandable. On board 32 gigs ROM is provided. Processor is 1.7 Ghz. Mali 450 graphics,
No NFC support is there.
bluetooth 4.0.
Single sim
4g LTE supported
wifi hotspot
wifi-direct
3100 mah Polymer battery,
Unibody design,
Face recognition,
blow to unlock,

This time mmx is not planning to public the device in grand opening but going by trend set by nexus 5, it would launch it online with Huge jackman promoting it on the air.

heyy could anyone tell me why does canvas juice a low end phone has only 10 hrs talktime and 280 hrs standby whereas xperia z1 being a high end phone has 25hrs talktime and over 750 hrs standby when both of them has same 3000maH li-ion battery??
i would really like to know why so much of a difference with same battery.....

For battery usage there is a solution as well. There are ample to android apps in the play store one of them is Battery doctor use this simple app to have a good performance out of the battery. The phone yes generally heats up due to the metal body but dats not an issue. However mmx shuld reconsider the heating issue.

Its the best ever Indian made handset. Most people complain abt memory card extension, I do agree with dat but as a solution u can connect the phone with a OTG cable and use a 32gb pen drive.
Batter cannot be removed in fact that is good so that we don't have to fidget with the opening and closing of cover; If there is a battery problem "in future" you can replace the battery in MMX service center.
