I am using this model since Feb 2014. I had no such problems using it. It heated a bit only when I played Candy Crush Saga. Battery lasts for about a day (like other phones) if your usage is average. But once the battery goes below 35%, it goes below 15% very fast. It hasa RAM of 512KB, so its of no use if you gonna load a big bunch of apps.
All in all, a good simple phone if you are not more into gaming and social media.
