> sound quality. if yes is it any whe... more> sound quality. if yes is it any where near the sound quality of any Sony ericsson phone. -- No..surely not near to sony ericsson ofcourse..but comparitively its good and better if you use better handsfree..its having yamaha sound drivers..if you are in love with SE sound quality..you won't get that punch in this..for others..its really good

Pratik, 15 Jul 2010I want to buy this phone, can someone who already has this ... moreright now I am not using this phone..but i had it for about 6 to 7 months
according to me..
1. Yeah you can play music / fm in backgroud..
2. Actual talktime..I am afraid it will last long for five hours..hmm..3 to 4 hours I guess.
3. Trackball ...its very good..micromax is the supplier of blackberry trackballs..its not as smooth as blackberry..but..still very good
4. If you haven't used qwerty till now but if you are used to type on computer keyboard..then i don't think it will take more than 3-4 days for you to get command over it..and then the big raised keys will fulfill ur hunger of sending tons of SMSs...
5. Reception quality always depends upon the place you are..the handset is having very good capability..as it is made in india ..made for india..
6. not at all delicate..metal frame..metal back cover..heavy one..the shape will fit nicely in hands..
--- it supports dual sim but not dual standby..when call on one sim is on..other sim will show switch off or so..

I want to buy this phone, can someone who already has this phone answer my doubts and help me buying this ph.
1. Can i play music/fm in background ?
2. What is the actual battery talk time? i mean i m used to talking with gf at nite for more than 2-2.5 hrs daily, this is one main reason i m buying a new phone. I need a phone which can last atleast 5 hrs of talk time..music/fm i hardly use.
3. How good is the trackball..?? i've read all the reviews here..there were mixed opinions about the track ball..confused as to whom to trust...
4. I havn't used QWERTY keypad until now..want to ask if the transition would be tough ??? i mean i am a hardcore user of sms..so considering that what u people suggest...
5. Network reception quality ?? I read some comments in which it was written that signal reception is very bad...i don't want compromise in this section as i m already using cellone whose network is like hell..and if handset is also having problems then i will be slamming my head against the wall.
6. Is it delicate ? i am using a slider phone currently which is too delicate..i m tired of handling it with care..i want something for which i don't have to be extra cautious

1.open phone book in the menu than open options open caller groups here u open friends and mark the names and than press add ur list is generated
2.whn u want to send msg go to phone book open caller groups and than options here u will find the option send message and it will send the msg to entire group

What is the link between Q mobile company in pakistan and micromax because Q mobile is giving same sets in pakistan which micromax is producing like Q5 Q3 Q4 no diffrence at all between them

thr's way to transfer ur contacts into this phone-
1st copy all ur contacts from the old phone to a pc.
then copy-paste all the contacts in a folder on ur Q5.
then go to NAMES>OPTIONS>PHONEBOOK SETTINGS>PHONEBOOK BACKUP>PHONE IMPORT.....
THEN LOCATE THAT FOLDER IN WHICH U SAVED ALL THE CONTACTS.
that's it, all ur contacts r transferred.

can the bluetooth shares and recives images,video,music?? and can the bluetooth in q5 be shared with nokia v2.0 a2dp????
iam juss planning to buy it cuzzz iam looking at the battery life,dual sim,bluetooth, and sumtimes music??? am i taking the good phone??
or do i wait for nokia c2..bt the battery life in it is waste ...
so can ny one of u suggest me a phone whos battery life is for about 3+ days & blutooth vch shares pic,video,music,,nd miusic.
is spice better than dis plzzz suggest me...

How do I ... more1.you must go to audio player and than open list
here open menu
go to settings and
select the option play from memory card
2.you have to keep all the music files in the memory card in a seperaate folder and name the folder MY MUSIC
audio player reads music files only in my music folder
