Hey i am still facing my wifi problem the same you mentioned.. i dunno what to do? any one using wifi plz help..

I purchased a new Q7 micromax a week before.
Some of my experiences are below:
a. Wifi (worst) - Tell me how to use it. Even in an open unsecured network, it only catches signals and if you want to connect it, you need to do setup of that signal and even then also its not sure that it would work or not.
b. Keyboard ( how to see the keys in day light) please improve this
c. Light weight body (even if it gets dropped by chance, some thing would surely get damaged in it.
d. size (please get me a cellphone cover with beauty looks to keep it safe)
In all, i will never recomend anyone to purchase it. Wastage of money.

hey guys i got the phone now. As expected its upto the expectations. Excellent phone go for it. But right now as today is just first day i am working out with my wifi setting as it detects my wifi network but i am unable to connect i dont know what for. all the other things about the phone we heard are just plain rumours . its ok phone for the amount of price it asks for. lets see if i am able to sort out my wifi problem.

i've been using Q7 since last month and have found it to be a good handset at this price.
advantages:
1)wi-fi and it works i've been using it
2)good screen and its legibility in sun
3)sound is also good
4)well spaced keys that let u type pretty good
5)trackball experience is awesome
interface is also nice.....not awesome
Disadvantages
1)the letters legibility on the keypad are very bad but within one week u will type with guessing...and it is gud as keys are well spaced
2)many of the java games dont work
3)a delicate piece
4)camera is not worth saying 2MP better u take a shot with a vga cam
but overall it is a good phone i took it for 4800 rs and is a good buy.It doesn't look like a china phone at all.i went for it cause it has wi-fi.you can definitely go for it.

Hey guys.. i have just ordered my q7 today and i will be getting it by 2mrw noon time guess.. Having heard all the comments about the phone its kinda scary.. but i will let you know full details and specifiactions and everything of it and let you know whether its user freindly or no and above all is it worth every penny spent for. cuz i have risked it with one and sole purpose of internet and wifi. will comment more about it tommorow.

hmm... this seems to be quite a bit of challenge for me to decide! i was thinking about buying this q7 set, but with all the contradictory info... i am at a total loss. may be its best if i go to the market and see for myself. it is without a doubt, a very heavily configured set within its price range. but with the problems that are being reported, may be not the best thing to put my money on.

Hi, The trackball which is main source for navigation is not at all working for me. The main disappointing is there is no other way to navigate........ its almost useless now.

The mobile is very good and is upto its promises... Ya in some issues i agree too but u just have to update the versions coz the verions in the site is not up to date,
Firstly u have to make ur proper settings for using internet or gprs or wap whatever we term it...
Today i got nimbuzz updated from the service center and Opera Mini should be updated to version 5.1... its awesome. wifi is very simple and just needs a password..regarding video player u have to set a perfect or close match... for eg: I use to convert my avi, mpeg or flv files to mp4 using total video converter and it works, infact i everyday use to save a new video and it works fine but in some cases it hangs. use a good player for audio which is java supported.

Yes U can use it. I am in Bahrain. Am using it with Viva and Zain Simcards. My friends also using it. No issues so far.
