micromax q80 is a hrifying xperience u hv 2 keep control on ur nerves when u buy it thrs alwaz a feeling 2 through it off but u may loos ur sim 2,
service centre,joy stick,intrnet browsin with opera,chinese quality ringtones,camera usage,quality of camera and finally resale is worst.
nobody wants 2 buy 4 2000 also i hv spend 4800 2 mnths back

i had been using micrmx q80 since 8 days but fed up wid the scrollin option its a headache opera is horifyin.
batry bckup is stil oki but want 2 resel dat but no 1 payin 1800 for this crap

The most frustrating part of this phone is the restriction for navigation only via touch Navikey. I think this application is an abuse of "Touch" applications. Scrolling is a punishment. And so is sudden outcome when trying to navigate fast.

i get only 15... moredear.. actually the speed doesnt depent on the phone.. its all on ur service provider.. right nw reliance,vodafone,nd idea are best.. try any of them.. u will have d download speed upto 35-40 kbps.. in 2G..!!
Docomo gives around 20 kbps only..!!

PROS :
1. Good Internet connectivity.
2. Good WiFi connectivity.
3. PC Suite works fine (tough very prehistoric type interface).
4. Dual Sim works fine.
5. 3G works fine.
6. Pushmail works.
7. Reasonable Battery Life.
8. Fair JAVA.
9. Good finance Apps.
CONS :
1. Navigation is a Pain with the touchball navi key. Your thumb gets sore. THERE IS NO OTHER WAY TO NAVIGATE!
2. CAMERA is TERRIBLE. Worse than VGA camera. AND the touchball Navi key IS THE ONLY WAY to operate the cammera, so soon as you turn the camera to get yourself in the scene mostly the mode shifts to vedio! BAD & FRUSTRATING.
3.The only way to get eMails is thru the ezMail pushmai which works at its whims & fancy. NO POP client is there despite such good connectivity. Leaving you only the JAVA Route to download PICO mail etc.
4. You are resigned and damned to use MiniOpera Ver. 4+. Version 5 or 6 does not load. Therefore NO Mulitple browsing.
5.Unwieldy size. Too big. I could not get a cover for the mobile after putting on their included back cover.
6. Complicated SIM and Memory Card slots.
Conclusion :
One of the wrong Investments I made.

I beg to differ with other regarding this model. I am using it for last one month. Its a great experience to use 3g, Wi-Fi and all the features together in Q80. I am also using Nokia E63-3G set. But my experiance with Micromax Q80 is better than that. Really, worth buying.

It was great mistake in my life to buy micromax product. i am very shameful to use this micromax q 80.its has full of bucks like 3g video call,ezmail,even normal call,what not .mobile automatically goes off frequently. So friends don’t buy any product from micromax..........this is only my personal view....

In frustation i have directly reset the mobile .and then mobile ezmail started .
most ezy process .
but never buy this or any micromax mobile with more than 2000 rs .it has that level.
