I received a mail from micromax as a reply for the question i asked is that q80is a dual stanby phone and they said yes for that question and it ll be launched in chennai around places on july month.

... moreagreed with your confirmation and answeres but seriously who want to go for a mobile which doesn't have even hsdpa 3.6 mbps also, u can go to airtel and idea cellular website and when you see compatible mobile phones on these site and when u selet micromax q80 u will find them saying upgrade ur mobile to hsdpa to use better 3g service. u can visit the site and confirm it urself. so i will advice all those who are considring buying this cellphone please confirm wether it has hsdpa or not and if it doesn't hv hsdpa then its really a very expensive at a price tag of 4999 rs. better to consider q 50 then this and if it is below 4000 rs then its is better choice.

As far as I now abt MMX, nope... all other mobiles from MMX don't give call waiting while you are on another sim.. so I expect the same with Q80..

Is that both the sims are active ah??? i.e if we speakin in one sim if the call comes in another sim ll it shows waiting call for it??????

Hi All,
I just want to confirm/answer few things here..
Q80 is not HSPDA but it is WCDMA 2100MHz..
This supports the speed upto 384kbps... ofcourse which is a good speed for mobile downloads or uploads..
MMX never gave the wrong specification like HSPDA.. you can check them here http://www.micromaxinfo.com/product.php?cat=all&product=Q80
And for the people here.. it has WiFi which enhances your web experience on your mobile and it is very to operate Wifi on Q80 with one button press on keboard..
Now the phone has 3MP camera on the front and rear one is 0.3MP which is suffient enough for video calling and yes WCDMA supports video calling being a 3G network..
HSPDA is nothing but the one which was built on WCDMA..
q80 body is metal body.. so it can withstand with your rough use unlike BB...
Now I have a question.. Can anybody tell me while using push mail can we simulatneusly use Nimbuzz on it.. I'm seriously searching for Q80 but unable to find in Hyerabad.

Micromax provides pretty decent camera in comparison with the price. You should not expect carl-zeiss optics in such price. The display and sound quality is really good in micromax mobile phones.

and yes micromax phones doesn't have good camera. please stop lying here poeples.

hello friends it is not a good mobile. it doesn't have hsdpa that means there is no use of 3g in this mobile. its a chinese handset selling in italy also under the brand name ngm metal devil u can search on the internet and get the full specification of this mobile. earlier i was considering buying this cellphone but now i have changed my decision after reading its full specification on ngm mobile site
