hey guys i ws thinkin of buyin dis phne but m really confused after readin ur reviews
actuly m nt a person who is affected by its features
wat i want 2 knw is, if its touchscreen is workin well? coz i need a phn jst 2 make calls n 2 text plz lt me knw at d earliest coz if its perfomance is below average thn i think micromax Q7 is also a gud option

micromax is changing there PHONE information day by day(about X550)
1) they told this phone has WiFi but after few days they delete it.
2) previously I have seen in there site the phone have email option "yes". but now they delete it .
those things are are very bad for micromax company
they are telling lay or they have no information about there set . battery backup is not good ,u have to charge daily.
overall MICROMAX is not a good brand .

i purchase this on 26-9-2010@Rs-4700. phone is nice and a grate 3D interface.audio and video quality is grate.as a entertainment phone it perfect . touch response is very nice
problems:-
1>no direct call key from phone book
2>NimbuZZ is not working
3>there is apps for micromax
4>i update opera-mini to 5 or 5.1 bit , but it is not supporting
5> no email facility but in the micromax site there is email option "yes"
6>no Google support(minimum opera mini 5 in required for opening some application)
8>i m not confirm about battery backup may be two days after normal use .
thou it is a good phone
#as a multimedia phone
9 out of 10
#as a smart future phone
2 out of 10
suggestion:-if micromax will take
care about micromax apps it will be a batter future of micromax in India ,while
there is lot of micromax user in India and
this is a age if mobile apps .

should the company give the phone in free to u!!!
and note tht samsung touch is the best...
well abt dis phn- a Supr Sxy phn with heavily loaded features, worth ur 4800 rupees...

Recently I have purchased this phone and having lots of S/W bugs.SMS cannot view.To view SMS every time Switch off and Switch on the mobile.World Clock and Time Zone not working.Sometimes the phone become dead and have to remove the battery and put back again.There is no support from the company.

xyz, 21 Sep 2010why u r misleading people dear.it has poor battery backup it is a nice phone and is very useful mobile u will be satisfied wid dis phone as compared to nokia 5230 5233 it is very good.

wrong specs, this phone have 3G and Wi-Fi as well, go to their websites for clear specs.. Facebook, NimBuzz, Opera Mini.. not sure about the dual sim as they have in almost all of thier fones..

The touch screen is very slow and sometimes does not respond. I'm quite dissatisfied with it's performance. Camera is not at all good. Another 2 to 3 thousand rupees can be incurred to get Nokia 5230, 5233 or 5235 handsets. The touchsreen of Nokia is the best than that of Samsung or LG. Micromax is a far below rated company. I advice all of you to avoid such a mobile of inferior quality.

Battery goes down witin 8-10 hrs without in use, really bad battery, no warning beeps it just switch off. Camera quality is very poor. Address editing option really bad.
Looks good but not worth it, better spend some more money and go in for good touch screen.
