Microsoft Kin One and Two specs updated, 600 MHz CPU inside

23 April, 2010

Microsoft purposefully left us in the dark with some of the specs of the Kin One and Kin Two, but some details remained unclear until now. Thanks to the social marketing director John Starkweather, we're finally able to put all the bits and pieces together. We gotta admit - the German Microsoft Facebook page also helped with many of the things.

Both the Microsoft Kin One and Kin Two will be powered by 600 MHz processors and pack 256 MB RAM. They both have capacitive multi-touch displays, 4 and 8 GB respective internal storage, 5 and 8 megapixel respective cameras with VGA and HD video recording respectively. You can find the full specifications of Kin One and Kin Two right on our website.

Finally, it's now sure both Microsoft phones will pack accelerometer, ambient light and proximity sensors.

Microsoft Kin One and Kin Two will be released in May in both USA and Europe. Stateside the Kins will be offered buy Verizon and Alltel, while Vodafone will sell the devices exclusively this autumn in Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK.
