The Microsoft Lumia 435, which was unveiled back in January this year, is now available for purchase in the US. The T-Mobile version of the device (white colour) is now listed on the Microsoft Store website, and carries a price tag of $70 sans contract.

Specs-wise, the smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 200 chipset with 1.2GHz dual-core processor, and sports a 4-inch WVGA screen. It comes with 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage (which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card), and packs in a 1,560mAh battery. In terms of camera, it features a 2MP rear unit and a VGA front shooter.

The Lumia 435 comes with Windows Phone 8.1 pre-installed, and offers HSPA+ connectivity (no LTE support). On T-Mobile, it will also feature WIFI calling.

I will really miss my camera button when I -eventually- upgrade from my 520. Oh, and capacitive buttons as well. :( Hopefully our coming flagship will carry these two hardware features.
