It doesn't have compass but maps are still good use good quality screen guard for better touch results

After connecting my Microsoft Lumia 535 to someone else's pc with my old data cable (of samsung), I just can't see the screen of my phone!!! It's all dark although my phone isn't turned off!
Can you help me? Please!!

My very 1st windows phone and yet I liked it more than my android phones. Cortana feature is very helpful compare to Siri and Google Now. My only concern is some touch screen issue i think its now software because even after recent update its still there but tolerable enough. Battery capacity is good sometimes is lasts 2-3 days of normal usage with wi-fi turned on for normal web browsing and not for continuous music or video streaming. Overall this phone has been good to me and I don't regret buying it.
