about the sim, try going to the settings - mobile + sim- sim 1 settings- sim status (on) / try reinserting the sim
otherwise i have used the phone since February and I'm loving it more and more especially if you've synced it with your 8.1 windows pc

please,the phones touch is really an issue ,updates don't help at all,wiping the screen doesn't help,it is a hardware problem not a software problem,features of the phone are good, but its impossible to use the phone,it opens pages automatically,even sends text automatically even without touching,this phone is a nuisance,Microsoft should really replace all the 535 sets,so many people have wasted their money for this phone..

I bought this Microsoft Lumia 535 just 3 days ago, but since yesterday morning, the SIM 1 side is no more functioning at all. I used other networks, same thing. Also, the fonts of the screen menu etc grows big automatically.
Please what is the solution so that i can access the DUAL sims?

I think we must have to checked the 7th and 8th IMEI code , buy just only made from Finland , Franch, and Germany. Its also very best made Lumia 535. Finland 7th and 8th digit code (01 or 10 the most best) , Franch is (00 more best) , Germany is (08 or 80 better)
to check the IMEI u must input in the dial pad before bought Lumia 535 *#60#
see the 7th and the 8th digit code.
just don't buy the Lumia 535 if the digit code are not from Finland, Franch, or Germany ok :)
because there is not good quality of Lumia 535.
Ok so becareful before buy ^_^

this phone is a sheer waste of money. heats up very fast. battery is fine. the camera is very bad. sometimes the messages dont open which irritates me like hell. take my advice, dont buy this phone please.

for ringtone problem, you can use ringtone maker, you can found that app on sotre and it's free

Ive been using this phone for 2weeks now. since I bought it. I encounter zero problems. it wont hang up (no lag) no overheat problem (unlike other android phone) the UI is very smooth very clever phone, easy to use and very unique, the ui design is simply amazing, android is obsolete and boring, the dual sim functionality is perfect, easy to switch from sim 1 to sim 2 real time, the call quality is crystal clear,(Philippines) my outlook email is keeping me updated the news the weather the apps are very intuitive music and videos plays very smart and a lot more. this phone really surprise me. from 1 to 10 this phone is 20!. keep it up Microsoft wer very excited for the upcoming windows10

AnonD-284490, 09 Jul 2015Very Very Very good phone from Microsoft. I am using this f... moreget another pair of earbuds or headphones (sennheiser/akg/jbl is what i use) and there is an audio setting where you can turn on that virtual thing. it also has equalizer settings too.

my problem with this phone is when someone calls it does nt display the name,and also i have the problem with using my own songs which i have on my memory card as ringing tones.

i use 6 months to above this microsoft lumia 535. first first found general touch problem now my display is gone permanently. so go to nokia care for repairing... but nokia care take 1 months to above time for repairing so what can i do....
