Good phone.im using it since 4 months.had an issue with its touch screen but got that replaced that too with in a week.

My wife has used this for a few weeks after switching from Lumia 625. The 535 is a great phone for it's price range (usd 150 in Jakarta).
The only good points are the 5mp front cam is very good
The bad points are the 1905mah battery is very insufficient for the 5" LCD.. Often runs out of battery in mid day. The proximity sensor is also not very good, when talking on the phone the screen often activate and accidentally our cheeks unknowingly rubs against the menu and mess around with the menu and input comands or activate programs without us knowing, all while we are talking on the phone.

Please , please and Please for anyone that cares to read. DO NOT BUY THIS PHONE. It is totally useless. Dont even collect if they give you for free. Their customer service is non existent.

Hi All..i preferred windows phone for my official use to use outlook...however got worst ever experience after giving 9200rs...utter waste of money..touch is hanging many times..plls don't buy..also nokia care is worst service, they say you shd have returned within 4 days...which Poorvika skywalk showroom in Chennai did not suggest...they said 7 days..now no one is helping...also sound clarity is very bad..only if you keep 6,7 volume you can hear clearly..also, I got it before 5 days and they are not ready to replace it..It has heating issue, more than normal phone and nokia care in Kodambakkam person Mr.Parthasarathy is not helping..he says they can chk only after 1 week, so 1 week what shd we do?? no ans for that...worst customer experience, that too he is the manager for that showroom..also..battery does not stay longer..pls go for other showroom for purchase also don't purchase this phone..go for new one 640..not sure whether it has the same issue..i love Microsoft..now I am hating it to the core...and people from poorvika or nokia care does not support.. :(

Do not buy this phone. Do not accept it for free. Touch screen issues and overall bad performance. MS will not even talk to you about it. They want to forget it. I've had it for 5 months and never been able to use it. Never because the touch is so bad. POS my friends. If you find one on the street, it is probably mine. Leave it there. Walk around it as if it were a dog turd.

To me its a crap. Lots of issues. Few major issues are :-
1) Very bad performance.
2) Sometimes while calling if you don't switch off the screen the fonts gets so big that restart is the only option.
3) Camera quality is worst.
4) Inbuilt apps are horrible, hard to type and don't trust maps(otherwise you are lost).
5) Technically speaking it has the worst processor Qualcomm has ever made.
I bought this as my first Windows phone as I got good review from my friend on Nokia Lumia. But I have learned my lessons. "Android rocks and Linux is future".

Lumia 535 is a good phone according to my opinion. However it has a little touch fault sometimes.but it can be overcome by using quality screen guard and by keeping it clean. battery life is also better compare to other smart phones (average 3days, maximum more than 4days)it is a long lasting battery. internet and download speed also good. clear voice and sound but hands free are not perform at high quality level as I expected. 535 is the best windows 4n at low price corridor.

This is my first Windows phone and not so upset about it, just a little. My opinions are these ..
Camera 📷. Good, however in lowlight photography, gives a lot of noise in the pictures.
Battery 🔋 Bad, when you're traveling.
Screen is Best when having protector on it. I recommend matte screen guard.
Games and playing, Worst, overheats when played 10 minutes and more, also some of the apps leave space at the bottom when you hide navigation bar.
Social apps are worst. Yeah I have 5mp front cam but what's the purpose if you CAN'T Upload it anytime you want. Haha. I don't know if it is because of OS version oR the app itself.
My conclusion.
It's good To use as a 3rd phone. Haha. But not a daily driver.
By the way. I'm using the 535 to post this comment.

I am using lumia 535 from 3 months, I bought it as was impressed by it's specs and reviews, but don't recommend this product,it's not user friendly, it's touch is the biggest problem, and Windows store doesn't have apps like android, Even whatsapp Windows has less features then it's android and iPhone version, you can't install SwiftKey keyboard on this phone, camera quality is fine, battery is okay, call quality is good, sar value is too good comparing to Motorola and other Nokia and Microsoft mobiles.
If you have used android, and you are techno savvy, you'll not like this phone,
