Missed some of the Google eye candy? Here are all the videos from today's event

Google staged a really announcement-packed presentation today. New hardware was abundant: two new Pixel phones, Google Home, Google Wifi, Daydream View and Chromecast Ultra. And to top it off Google Assistant really tied things together, bringing in the extra smarts to power the upcoming tech at a whole new level.

Even if you don't care about any of the tech specifics or didn't get particularly excited by Google's take on a next-gen smart assistant on the go and in your home, there was still a lot of eye candy to enjoy. The online giant was quick to upload all of the videos to YouTube, so you can check them out one by one. Of course, there is also the full presentation running for almost two hours, if you have the time to kill.

Looking at the videos, we can't help but notice a whole new level of uniformity and refinement, not typically associated with a Google release. Don't get us wrong, the guys over at search central have been responsible for many exquisite devices in the past. However, the new and centralized approach to hardware development really seems to be paying off.

This time around the entire lineup looks in tune. There is a refined aesthetic and a somewhat homely feeling to the new design. No more scattered devices from third-party vendors, no more vaguely related products from distant company branches. This time around Google seems to be front and center on the command deck, calling the shots.

That being said, we can't fail to note that the Pixel and Pixel XL offer a far from universally-appealing look. In the grander scheme of things, however, we have to admit we rather like this new uniform, mature approach to things. Do you agree, or is it yet another acquired taste?
