I bought mitac mio 8390 to use with t-mobile. But it is not working with t-mobile. When I turn power on it will search for signal and then the message "no service"
Can anybody help me how to make it work with t-mobile.If you know, please email me at wsingk@yahoo.com.

have been using it for 5 months... everything works well (especially the SD/MMC card feature... allows me to watch saved movies non-stop for 9 hrs during flights.. one 256MB card is enough for a 110mins movie)... however not a lot of extra free downloads available/compatible with WIN Mobile 2003... and NO FM radio function.
My network charges very high for internet connection...so far only used it twice... seems not as good as my friend's 3G phones.

I got my Mio 8390 through trading and I absolutely love its features too bad its not as popular as nokia or se especially here in the philippines. - well i just hope that i can figure out how to configure the mms feature otherwise i think its the best smartphone ever

Yes the MMS Is still In chinese. As far as the GX32 goes It has a few more features than the 8390. The GX has a flash for the camera, bluetooth, and a 65k external color screen. these three features will cost you about 250.00 more than 8390. other than the three features mentioned, the rest of GX32 and 8390 are the same.

I just got this phone and It's excellent. It's the most feature rich phone for the price. I'm running It on T Mobile U.S.with wap(T Zones) enabled. I've already put mp3 ring tones on the phone, all the factory ring tones suck. I've downloaded megpeg and wmv files on to the phone they work great. there's even a freeware program that allows you to overclock the 200mhz processor to 300mhz with no damage to the phone which makes the phone that much faster. The 3 games that come with the phone work great. I haven't downloaded any games yet so I can't say If the GAPI doesn't work or not,although downloaded video works well. I also haven't tried the still and video camera yet so I can't comment on the quality. From a features for money standpoint, It's the best phone you can get. you can download the english manual from http://www.celluloco.com/products/customer/home.php The english manual Is okay for 200 pages but It's not as comprehensive for overseas users as It should be.
