Siemens CX65. Price is abt 35% higher than M350. Triband. Camera+Video. In terms of features and size is better than M350 BUT the screen display is only 65K. 65K screen is nothing to shout about these days... The photo quality of cx65 is also not better than M350... No night mode , so they provide additional flash as extra accessory... u have to spend more $$

Anybody here knows what's the meaning of the graphic crescent-moon icon-symbol at the top of the screen? I checked the manual and can't seem to find out what the heck it is for...

The good:
1) 262k natural colours
2) Good camera; second only to 1.2 megapixels camera phone (7610)
3) Displays pictures of callers
4) Value-for-$$
The bad:
1) Lacks voice clarity when talking
2) No mp3 player and radio
3) Only 1 service centre in Singapore

James, with Windows XP its quite easy to transfer files between phone & PC or laptop. Basically, to transfer files using the irda first make sure your PC's or laptop's irda device is enabled. Then enable the phone's irda and allign them a few cm apart. The laptop should detect the phone as computer M350 and ready to transfer files.
By double clicking the icon you should be able to send any files to the phone.
To send pictures/files from the phone to the laptop: Go to the picture/file>Options>Send by...>Infrared port>click ok
Pictures you send to the phone must be resized to smaller than 640*480 using any third party image editor or else the phone will not be able to display it. However, I have encountered problems whereby some pictures could not be displayed on the phone even after resizing. That's why I wish Mitsubishi will provide an image editor (and other softwares) specifically for use with the phone in the future. Hope this helps.

To Sad User: my advice is that u resize the pics to 128*120 and the graphics will look excatly the same as that on the pc. My personal view is that the camera and grahic display are currently one of the best in the mobile world so far. The only regret is no bluetooth and radio and mp3 player... But if these were included, the price and the weight/size of the fone will be much much steeper.

Hey... why is it that when I set my pictures as idle picture, the quality of the picture is so much worse than when I viewed it in the funbox? Does anyone have this problem too?

James, K700i's screen size is larger hence the higher pixel dimensions but we don't know which has got a better PPI (Pixel Per Inch). Better PPI means the image is sharper but K700i lose out tremendously in depth of color. So in my opinion M350 has got a better screen display.
However, M350 has got less functions - no radio, no mp3, no bluetooth etc... so if you don't really need all these in your phone, its a good choice as a camera phone - for now. :)

More pixels equals to higher resolution.A pixel is the square thingie if u look close enough at your phone screen.I imagine that the pixels of the k700 must be smaller then the m350.That translate to better clarity. However you must remember the difference in color depth. My advice:If you can, wait. There will be EVEN better phones out, probably with real 3D chipsets from ATI and nVidia.Real 3D capability that will put the n-gage to shame.

Really? Then the M350lcd should be also better than k700i!!!
But k700i have 176*220 pixels, compared to this M350's 128*160 pixels... ireally dunno which fone is better.... how much is M350 in Singapore rite now? Cos k700i is about $678 and which i find quite expensive... But this M350 have very poor software support... how how?
