MobileFiles Pro is the first iPhone app to edit Excel spreadsheets
Quickoffice announced today the release of their MobileFiles suite for the iPhone that enables you to view MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (all 2003 and 2007) and Adobe PDF files as well as music, pictures and videos, even ones stored on a MobileMe iDisk account.
MobileFiles Pro enhances the file management capabilities of the iPhone by adding support for uploading files to the iDisk account, organize local files and transfer files between a desktop and the suite over Wi-Fi (both PC and Mac supported).
A key selling point for the Quickoffice latest software suite is the ability to create and edit Excel 2003 files in .xls format (no 2007 editing support). The editor packs an extensive set of options including support for many functions, formatting, inserting/resizing rows and the ever useful undo/redo function.
Viewing iWork files is also supported by the Pro version and even more functionality updates are promised in 2009.
MobileFiles Pro can be purchased from the Productivity section of the App Store for $9.99. There is also a free non-Pro version of the suite, but unfortunately it lacks Excel editing and iWork documents viewing.

That's called stealing, the people who develop the software should be paid for their work. Piracy will kill Symbian. Protection from piracy is a part of why Apple's App store is so successful.
