When I use the phone it becomes very hot only at noon, even without playing games. I watch YouTube and the temperature becomes very high, reaching 40 degrees. Is there a solution to this problem?

This phone is stupid good value for money if you find it for the price I did on eBay.

I got one of these with T-Mobile on promo. Mostly decent phone, though felt a bit cheaply made. Lacking a lot of features present on the edge+ from 2020 like USB webcam or desktop mode over USB. Ready For was still present but only worked over the desktop app which seemed kinda pointless and laggy. Screen is alright at 144hz but lacking in color vibrance. General CPU performance is good and GPU performance isn't bad, most games and apps should handle just fine. Big issue I had during regular use was having to swap between networks; texting wouldn't work over 5G and Data didn't always work well on LTE. Sometimes whole data connection would drop out until reboot. Motorola is very slow at updating Android environment outside of security patches. I recently had my edge 22 completely fail on me after about a year, it started rebooting itself and eventually froze on me, unable to reboot leaving it completely bricked. I've replaced it with a OnePlus N30 which is pretty similarly specced but has android 14 updates and a more feature rich deployment with OxygenOS and so far I'm liking it a lot better.

A very good smartphone at a reasonable price, but the problem is that the screen makes your eyes very tired. This particular model has a very high PWM and no flicker elimination. This is a problem with Motorola smartphones in general.

Just setup brand new Motorola Edge (2022) XT2205-1 from Amazon. Connected via USB-C (at both ends) cable to my old Motorola One 5G Ace (XT2113-2) with Android 11 and everything transferred over nicely. Does have wireless charging. Does not have eSIM as stated here (double checked on Motorola website and Edge (2022) does not have eSIM, the 2023 model does). Setup yesterday with Android 12. Today it received Android 13. I also like that this phone is slightly smaller (6.6" vs. 6.7") and lighter (170g vs. 212g) than my old Motorola One 5G Ace.

I've been A Motorola User From Years, Motorola G6 Plus, Moto Z4 & Now I'm Using Motorola Edge 2022.
So Far I've Got No Complains Yet In Any Phone. Would Say That They Are The Most Reliable Phone, I'm Not Comparing With Any Brand But It Is What It Is.

Anonymous, 20 Aug 2023Plz share your experience regarding gaming perspective.I've had this phone since it first dropped and I'm not the most heavy gamer but I game and everything I've thrown at it is handled with ease COD asphalt 9 Ginshin All the regular games I've tested this Dimensity 1050 chipset is really good. You won't be disappointed 👍

And the promises that were made when this phone was released sounded Very good. That was one of the reasons I added this device to my arsenal. I really hope there not gonna give my Motorola Razr Plus this same treatment.
