More Daydream VR compatible apps and games arrive just as new headset colors are available
Right on time, today Google has made two additional colors for its Daydream View VR headset available to purchase. You can now find the Daydream View in Crimson and Snow versions, in addition to the originally launched Slate, at the Google Store in the US, UK, and Australia. Expect to see them at Verizon and Best Buy soon, as well as EE and Carphone Warehouse in the UK. Additionally, those who pre-ordered the Crimson or Snow headset should have it shipped today.
To go with this, Google is also announcing a slew of new VR apps and games that are up for grabs now. Netflix, HBO Go, and HBO Now let you watch your favorite content on a virtual big screen, while NextVR offers NBA and NFL games, the US Open, the Daytona 500, as well as Live Nation concerts.
The new games available for Google's VR platform are: Lego BrickHeadz Builder VR, Gunjack 2: End of Shift, Layers of Fear: Solitude, Wands, Underworld Overlord, and Need for Speed: No Limits VR.

Daydream VR is definitely not a gimmick, especially if you played with some of the games and applications.
